The swedish national team skier, Robin Bryntesson, just signed up for the 13th edition of Vasaloppet China. He will also join Tour de Ski China with totally 5 stages around China. Stage 1 is Vasaloppet China on January 2, 2015.

Some carrier highlights for Robin is the World Cup victory in team sprint together with swedish World Cup winner Emil Jönsson, gold medals from both Junior- and U-23 World Championships in sprint are also on his list.

– It’s my first visit ever to China so I am really exited and I am looking forward to this interesting, and a bit unusual challenge. During my trip to China I want to have speed, experiences and get great inspirations, Robin says.

Robin is not just a fast and famous skier, he is also a big creator and among other things he is running a popular sport camp ”Sockertoppen” supporting young sportive with diabetes. Robin have had the disease since his childhood. So its become a natural step in his life to start the funding especially since he have proved for him self and the medical expertise, that doubt on him, that its possible to be a professional athlete nor depending on the disease.

During Vasaloppet China and Tour de Ski China Robin will represent a new team for the very first time. Team Novonordisk is “changing diabetes”.

That’s also one step in his carrier to emphasise to his mission; showing that all is possible, it can be funny and positive things to do in life no matter if you have diabetes or not.
