As the last stage of Tour De Ski 2010 – 2011, the 9th Vasaloppet China 2011, Jan. 2nd is a battle of expectation and determination! It marks Changchun Jingyuetan National Park an extraordinary place!
MEN AND WOMEN 16.7KM
The first three places of female 16.7km have all been taken by three skiers from Russia — Бурлакова Е.В. the champion, Филиппова О.С. and Спасская К.О. are the 2nd and 3rd places. For Male part, the Swedish skier, Lewandowski Daniel has been the 1st place, with Панченко П.В., Доровский М.В. taking the 2nd and 3rd places. Both of them are from Russia as well.
MEN AND WOMEN 50KM
It still seems a lucky race for Chinese skiers. The first two places were taken by Li Hongxue and E Yingcui with the gap of 0.49. And the Finnish skier, Rintala Mirva has ranked the 3rd place by the result of 2:53’40”. Eide Mari, from Norway, the champion of the Bird’s Nest Stagre3 has been retreated to 7th place. Man Dandan, the brilliant skier of the past three stages hasn’t come to start.
After a thrilling photo finish of three athletes the organizers noticed that the first of them, the Chinese skier, Sun Qinghai had changed his skies during the race, which was not allowed. The jury disqalified Sun and Xuwenlong became the champion, who’s also from China. Hoegberg Anders, from Sweden has been the 2nd place with only 0,1 behind. The 3rd place was taken by Tang Jinle, who’s also from China.
