Yesterday Vasaloppet China 2022 has been offIcially opened on January 4th, 2022 on our tracks in Jingyuetan Park as usual, but due to international travel restrictions, only Chinese participants and foreign expats in China will be able to participate. And more than 400 professional athletes and skiers from Jilin province, Hebei Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region took part in the competition. The environment is very lively and full of passion.

Since “Vasa” was introduced into China in 2003 and settled in Changchun Jingyuetan, China Changchun Jingyuetan Vasa International Ski Festival has grown over 20 years and become one of the oldest, largest and internationally influential winter sports events in China.

Finally, Baolin from Inner Mongolia winter sports management center, Zhang Chenghao from Beihua University and Tang Qinghe from Changchun Winter Sports Management Center won the first, second and third place in the men’s group of cross-country skiing long-distance 50km competition of Vasaloppet China 2022. And Li Lei from Changchun winter sports management center Wang YingYing and song Shengdi of Hebei cross-country skiing team won the first, second and third place in the women’s long-distance 50km cross-country skiing respectively. Wang Guifu and Ma Chun from Changchun Winter Sports Management Center won the men’s and women’s first place in  short-distance 25 km cross-country skiing race.
